Title: Not what I was hoping for...

This picture looked great. I was excited that this costume was made of cotton and that the sleeves weren't puffy like the other Dorothy costumes I'd come across for my 2 1/2 year old. The picture is misleading and is not the same picture that is on the package. The sleeves are poofy, just like all the other Dorothy costumes for toddlers, and makes my daughter look like a linebacker. The description led me to believe that the white shirt was separate from the blue skirt part but this is wrong. The shirt has the blue gingham on the bottom half and the skirt sits at a normal waistline with the straps holding it up. I think I was expecting the bottom to be more of a corset type by fitting right under the bust line. My daughter wears 24-months/2T clothing and this costume is rather big on her. I will definitely have to pin it in order to keep the straps on her shoulders and to give the appearance that it actually fits. I think I was hoping that, since the picture looked so great and the description seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, it would be more of an actual dress instead of a costume. Wrong again, it is definitely a costume and the shirt ties in the back only at the top, like a hospital gown, leaving quite an opening. Even though I was disappointed with the way it turned out, my daughter is absolutely in love with it and will be able to dress up as her favorite character for a couple of years. I would recommend this costume over the ones I have seen in stores because it is made of cotton and has already survived the washing machine and dryer. It is going to be more durable than the nylon ones at the store.

Title: Just Like the Real Thing!

My kids love to dress up and this adds to our year round fun! This costume is comfortable and well made!
