GRANDSON FLIPS FOR "EL CAPTAIN"

Our two year old grandson Elias loves the pirate that sings at the beginning of Sponge Bob. I got the idea to look for a pirate outfit that he could wear when he is watching the program. First of all, he "flipped" when his mom opened the packages with the El Captain and eye patch. He wasn't feeling well that day and my daughter-in-law said he perked up really fast. He loves it and wears it and prances around singing along with the pirate Captain. My daughter-in-law said it is made "very well" and the eye patches gold trimming came off immediately but she would have removed it because of his one year old brother, anyway. I'm glad I got it for him and the shipping was the CHEAPEST I have encountered in a long time. Also, the package arrived much sooner then I was told......like four days....which was also great.

This costume was a disappointment in every aspect. The fabric was so thin and cheap it was literally see-through. The vinyl parts of the costume were permanently creased, with some parts actually fused together. The boot covers on the pants just looked tacky. I returned the costume without a second thought.

Not as expected

This costume looked really cute in the pictures but the quality isn't as good as other costumes that I've purchased. The shirt/coat doesn't lay right and the sash is baggy. Also the hat is ridiculous, it doesn't sit right and it's really cheaply made, not sturdy at all. I bought the buccaneer costume last year and will go with that one again this year, especially since my son (who is 4) didn't like this one and wants to use his "other" costume. It's much better than this one so don't waste your money.

This costume was loved but it is too hevy for a subtropical climate and we will have to wait till winter to wear it. Product very exciting would suit a cooler climate
