This costume was great! Other outfits I was looking at were very, very short. This was a great length, extremely comfortable and fun to wear!

I thought this was a necessary piece for any costume fiends wardrobe. Oktoberfest happens every year so you know you will get great use out of it. I was deciding between this costume and a few others german maiden ones on the site, and I'm glad I stuck with my gut feeling. Based on the other costumes I have purchases they are quite short, where as this dress has the longest length of them all, which makes me feel more comfortable whilst drinking my pint! I brought a size small because I was worried that the medium would be too loose around the mid section. And I'm glad I did. The only problem I have now is that when the white bust area is properly covering my chest, it is extremely revealing as there is little material. So you just have to yank it up to an appropriate position, but this sacrifices the maximum skinny waist look. If you have a big cup size, be wary of getting a smaller size. I also bought the petticoat and I had some white socks lying around... as you can see it really adds to the whole outfit. Next I shall find some more pink ribbon for my hair. The reviews were a great way for me to find my size, however most people forgot to mention their dimensions! So here are mine. Bought based on reading reviews and viewing at least 15 other costumes. My wife is a parochial school teacher, but we we're having a German-themed party and wanted some 'authentic' costumes. This was about as appropriate as you could get in the style. Size was perfect (Large) -- she's nearly 6' with a trim waist/hourglass figure. We did buy the pantaloons for the inevitable bending over and when the wind picked the skirt up...worked great for the modesty factor. Also, spritzing some water and running a very low iron over the costume really dressed it up.

I'm a size 14 in Australia and the dress fitted perfectly, it looked great, wasn't too short and it was great fun to wear. Excellent service got it in rural Australia within one week of ordering with the UPS option. Thanks you really made by 40th birthday special. Will use you again.
