The jacket is made from a very thin material that reminds me of a throw-away plastic table cloth. The edges all around the bottom are fraying and I just took it out of the package. The helmet is a very durable heavy plastic but my son thought it was too heavy and uncomfortable so won't wear it. The boots have no bottom so you just slip it on their leg, put the shoes on, then pull the elastic strap under the shoe....they are better quality than the jacket. But, for $14.99 clearance price I guess I got what I paid for.

Perfect halloween costume. While it is fairly cheap material, the price was right and my son loves it. I ordered a size bigger than he usually wears and it will fit great over clothes. The boots have no bottom so will fit easily over his own sneakers. Great buy!

I have been very happy with this purchase. It is not the highest quality but for a dress up it is what is needed and the price couldn't be beat. My son loves this costume and wants to wear it daily.

fun but cheaply made

My 2 yr old is soooo into firefighters and firetrucks, so I bought this off-season for him to wear for a few months before Halloween. It was on clearance for $7.50, which made it worth the investment. I would NEVER pay more than that, though. The bootstraps were both falling off when I unwrapped the packaging. The material is barely stitched together in certain places, with frays everywhere. I don't think this is going to last beyond 2-3 playtimes, let alone 5 months until Halloween. Fun factor - YES, but quality - NO!
