Bought this for my daughter to wear to a volunteer party that was Italian themed. She looked amazing in it, but she did have to do some modifications to it. The arms were very tight so she just cut up from the cuff about 1.5 inches and it gave her a great more mobility. She could even wear it out at night to a club, its that good of a quality in material.

Very nice but runs small in the bust...

This costume is well made and VERY cute. Two things though: 1) It runs extremely small in the bust. I had to order two sizes up to get it to fit and it's still a bit snug and I will have to get it taken in from under the bust down because the rest of the dress is huge. 2) The zipper down the center of the dress is FOUR INCHES SHORTER (I used a tape measure to check) than the rest of the bottom hem! So even though it is okay in the length everywhere else, in the center it is really short and I'm afraid I will be flashing people when I sit down. I kept the outfit anyway because I really wanted to go as a Gangster this Halloween 2010, and this was just the cutest one (I tried two others.) I will still recommend this costume, because it is truly well made and just adorable and flattering, but those problems should be taken into consideration when ordering. :)

i tried this costume on and it was too big. i am 5' 105lbs. I think this would look better on a taller woman. I ordered a small.

Size does matter

I ordered this in an XL and when I received it and tried it on, it is small in the shoulder area. I will not be able to wear it due to the fact that it is to constricting to the point that I can't really put it on properly to wear. I will be keeping it as I got it at a good price. I will just donate it to a friend or good will since it will cost me more to return the item. I have never had a problem buying XL costumes from this company before and I am still the same weight size and physical form as I have been for years! If you have large shoulders DO NOT BUY!

Had to return but quality made & looked amazing just not on me!! lol I would buy this actually going to a 1x. I am 5'6" and 142 lots up top & no bottom to speak of. So buy for the quality.
