Your child would have to have an extremely small head to wear this mask! I tried to squeeze it on my son's head, and he couldn't even open one eye it was so tight! I did like other people said, and cut it up the back. Also, the chest plate is just held on with velcro, and they didn't mention that I would have to put that velcro in place

My son was so excited to get gis costume and as soon as it it was delivered he just had to try it on. The chest peice and shoulder pads were just held on by a velcro stripe on each side and it kept falling off. I had to sew it on so he could wear it for Halloween. The mask was way to tight and and I had to cut straight up the back of it about 1/2 of the way to fit it on his little head.

Pretty good, except...

It was pretty good except the mask was very small. My son doesn't have a big head and we had to cut the back open to fit over his head.

Good concept, poor execution

My son picked this costume out. He tried it on that night. Everything fit except the mask, it was way too small, didn't even get it on his head. And when I cut it to make it slip on his head he complained that it was uncomfortable around his eyes. The chest piece is held on by the shoulder pieces which just sit there and aren't attached to anything else. I'm just glad I only paid $20 for this costume.

This costume was a good price as it was on sale but I wouldn't have been happy if I'd paid full price for it. My son finds the mask uncomfortable and the chest piece doesn't attach properly and will require some sewing to ensure it doesn't keep coming undone.
