I just bought this for my 9 year old for a class presentation. I knew it would be big - but wasn't sure how big it would be for him. Well to my happiness, it was easily adjustable to shorten ( temporarily) the arm length, and the rest just worked well as is. I like the material - almost like "velvet", which made it more authentic. We used the ascot as a banner, and purchased the sword, which can be held in place with the banner going from one should to the waist on the opposite side. I could have bought another child's version - but for the price and quality, well worth it, and it can be used in the future for Halloween. Money well spent.

Value for the money

Bought this for my photo studio. Upon closer inspection it is a bit on the simple side, but for the money it's a good value. The fringe work is a bit delicate, so you might have to touch it up a bit. Won't stand up to a lot of use and also the Velcro placement makes it one size fits all, but you might need to add another strip or a pin if you are on the small side.

Went out on Halloween with this and got lots of positive comments, so made the right impact! Velvet fabric is quite thin and you can not iron it, so it needs to be hung for a few days in a steamy atmosphere to get rid of creases caused by packaging. It is a large to XL size, so if like me, a medium, you have plenty of space underneath to put on warm gear under when out on a cold night trick'or'treating. overall a good buy.

Fabulous buy, worked perfictly

I bought this costume for my Eagle Scout project, which was a living museum. We had it for General Washington, and the jacket worked flawlessly. I was surprised when i got the jacket on the man portraying Washington was saw how great he looked with it on. I still have it and have used it many times since and it holds up great!

This costume is a great start to a full General Costume. The only problem is that it does not come with pants, a wig or shoe covers. Everyone loved it!
