Great costume for my sweetie this past Patty's day. For the most part it came from the package perfect & ready to wear! He's a bit picky tho like me, so we sewed up the bow tie a bit as he felt it was too wide and clownish.. on the vest, I darted the back to give him a trimmer fit on his torso. He loved this costume, as did I. His only gripe was he had to serve food, so he had to wear a shirt... You can see this vest goes well with a formal tuxedo shirt!!! He also didn't find us for the suspenders. (Maker~DREAM GUY)

This costume was great .It is very generous in size as I usually wear an x large but after reading previous reviews ordered the large and had plenty of room in it and I'm 6'3 and 215lbs. I didn't have any problems with it at all.Thanks again.

VEST FUN BUT RUNS BIG AND SHORT FOR THE AVERAGE MALE, NOT TO TAKE AWAY FROM COSTUME AS IT STILL IS A FUN PURCHASE.

This ends up being a great start for a halloween/st. paddy's day costume. But in the end, it leaves some things to be desired. First, the vest is huge, the guy in the picture is probably wearing a small, I orded a large because I'm 6'2" and 190. I had to pin it to even make it come close to fit. Also, the suspenders are useless. You can't even see them because you're wearing a ves over them, so that's a complete waste of time. The costume would be better complimented by a belt with a buckle that matches the buckle on the hat. Those are my only gripes, the hat is comfortable for wearing all night and will keep you warm too.
