This prop is absolutely awesome! Obviously, it is plastic, but it really looks nicer & more substantial than any other similar products I found online. If you are in the market, pay close attention to the size of the product. This one boasts a tall 6 ft & the head of the axe is substantial. Considering the price combined with overall quality, this was an AWESOME buy!!!!

Not only is it as tall as the description says, but the ax blade is huge! The product is decently sturdy for plastic, but whacking it against something will likely break the long handle. The paint job on it is really cheesy and unimpressive... I spray painted mine; flat brown for the pole and metallic silver for the entire blade... this made it look AWESOME! I am dressing up as a viking so those colors were a better fit. A great buy for the money, chicks will dig your axe.

When they say "Giant" they mean it! This axe was larger than expected. The head of the axe is quality plastic construction. The handle is a little flimsy by the time the two extensions are added to the head. However, it is a great prop if you need a large axe!

Although this axe is real looking it's not made of as sturdy a plastic as advertized. It comes in three peices - you screw the plastic handles together and then into the head. The first time I screwed the handle into the head the threads snapped. Because it's a relatively soft plastic, I had to use a glue gun and about two meters of black duct tape. But it did actually look OK when I got it repaired. If you're gonna buy this make sure you don't screw it together too tightly. Or have lots of duct tape available!

This axe is definetly giant. Looks great. I added some blood to the blade and to the points, and also added some shunken heads to the axe handle just below the blade this made it look evil.
