This costume was for a dance routine. Its gorgeous, great quality and looks fantastic on. The girls were thrilled with the costume and can't wait to wear it on stage at the concert. True to size.

It's a solid, attractive costume. I've never been a fan of crushed velvet, but on this costume it is okay. It fit me perfectly and really showed off my curves. The tiara isn't as nice as the one in the photo but it's fine and has held up, I've worn this costume to two Halloweens, one in 2009 and again in 2011, so it held up well over the years.

This costume had a few fit issues for me. I ordered the correct size and it fit well, but looking at the picture, I had the idea that the banded part came in and snugged the waist, creating an empire effect. This was not the case. If there were elastic in it, it would have been great. Instead, I looked like a long, red column in spite of the fact that I just lost 50 pounds and wanted to show off my new-found curves. If you look great in an "A"-line skirt or costume, skip this one. I ended up cutting half the skirt off so as to de-emphasize the length. The other problem I had was the neckline. It is pretty low cut and shifts, so if you're looking for family friendly, wear something underneath this one or skip it. The fabric was pretty nice being red velour. I loved the coin detailing, it was beautiful and attention-getting. The arm bands drove me nuts. If you have kids and intend to trick-or-treat, leave 'em at home. I replaced mine with some Greek-key cuffs. Arm bracelets would work well,, too The laurel leaf crown/tiara thing was pretty cheaply made. A glue gun, some gold leaves, a headband, and 10 minutes, you have your own tiara. Knowing what I know now, I would have left this one alone.

This costume is great! It is not cheaply made (with the exception of the head piece) like most costumes. The fabric is very soft and the gold coins that hang down add great detail to the outfit. It was very flattering on. Very pretty colors. It reminded me more of a gypsy costume instead of a greek costume. Either way I was beyond happy with the costume. I am not a tiny girl, 5’3 170lbs and the XL fit perfectly.

I got this the day before my party so I couldn't send it back, even thought it completely lacked the tiara the description claimed was included. Otherwise, the costume was cute and fit well.
