I am 5'4" and a size 22. I received several compliments on the costume. The costume fits well but I think the hat runs small. The dress is long but with heals the extra length is just what the costume needs. I would have liked it to be a little less snug around the chest/back (to better hide the bumps and lumps), but a body suit smoothed everything out. Before we left for the party - I noticed that one of the seams on the skirt was open -- (it was stitched to close to the edge of the fabric). I was able to use fabric glue to repair it.....No problem. I chose to stitch the sleeves closed - I didn't care for the way they looked when they fell open. It will need to be ironed before you wear it and the hat could use a few days to straighten out. A size 24 might find it a bit snug if your weight is carried on top. Really ~~overall it is a great costume and Buycostumes.com shipped it fast!!! (I received it 2 days before I expected it!!!) 4 other people at the party ordered from Buycostumes.com and also loved their costumes and were impressed by the shipping time!!!

I wasn't sure what to expect but it wasn't as cheap as I originally thought it would be. I would have preferred the sleeves not being open but I used small strands of ribbon and tied it at different intervals and it looked super. Would have been nice to have it a little more poufy on the bottom as well. The seam did come apart during the day but it is an easy fix. Overall I was super happy with it and you could dress as several different things in it. I went with the wtich this year but you could do a gothic vampire, a maiden, a zombie probably even a bar maid tavern with the right accessories. Looked great with the wig I purchased as well.

I have orderd at least 6 dress costumes. I order plus size because the regular size runs small. This dress was the best fit out of all of them. A couple I got were too big in the bust. This dress is well made. A little long, but with high heel shoes, not a problem. Worth the price, even if I got mine on sale. Glad I finally got around to getting this.

We've bought this outfit in the past and it never fails to deliver. Brilliant fit and I've seen it on several big ladies of varying heights and sizes. It'll probably need hemming unless you're very tall but otherwise its great. Only complaint with this last order was that the hat is a little snug. Haven't had that before. But otherwise this outfit is very versatile. Highly recommend it.

When they say "true to size" It really is. I am always concerned when buying something like this, especially online when I cannot try it on for myself, I am a bigger girl, and it fit perfectly! I was very pleased! It's long, but I think that's the charm of it!
