A huge disappointment
I ordered this costume after careful consideration. I've browsed many costume websites and found that the price point of this product was most enticing. What sealed the deal for me however were the reviews, and I wish they were accurate. Several reviews actually praised the costume's sizing, which I found to be most disappointing. I am a size 10-12 and the large fit very snug. The boning of the "corset"(the dress does NOT actually have one) which is composed of several ribbons in the back of the garment, was bent out of shape and had to be taken out almost immediately for me to even feel comfortable trying the costume on. The fabric felt very cheap and was wrinkled and out of shape. The so called peplum makes you look like your hips are three times the actual size. Also, the length of the garment is nowhere near that shown in the photo, the model must either be very short or be standing barefoot, either way, the skirt length didn't reach past my ankles. Overall the costume's fit was most unflattering, the length of the bodice made me look like I had no waist, the peplum attached ruched skirt does nothing for the hips, and the length of the skirt is nowhere near floor length(granted you stand over 5' tall). The fabric is cheap and the only saving grace this costume has are the gloves. I would not be caught dead in this thing at a party, so I've ordered another costume elsewhere.
On a separate note, the highly praised speedy shipping everyone talked about also went awry for me, not only did I get my costume on the LAST day of the quoted delivery time, it also arrived the same day as costume contact lenses I've ordered all the way from the UK!!!!!! And the UK order was free shipping.
I doubt I'll ever order from this website again.
