the hair is sewn on the outer edges of the hat. so if you do get this, get another wig to wear underneath

Very low quality item. The hat is floppy in that it will not stand tall. It folds in on itself. Looked more like a Dr Suess hat than a Slash. Also there is not enough hair to go all the way around your head. Pathetic in every way. I went to a costume store and purchased a better hat for $50 and a proper Slash wig for $20. Avoid this cheap getup.

perfect hat for slash costume hair is a little thin, so if you want realism, add a wig.

Ordered this wig for my husband as he is going to dress like Slash for Halloween. A little disappointed, but think we can make it work. The hat is perfect, it's the hair that's extrememly thin. Slash has thick hair, so was hoping for a thicker wig. oh well...
