I ordered this for my son along with the robe, tie, and glasses. He is going to be Harry Potter for Halloween. He tried everything on as soon as it arrived and didn't want to take it off. He can't wait to use it again! I know it will get plenty of use long after Halloween which makes the price great.

My son really enjoys the wand however once I put the batteries in the cover wouldn't close properly so I had to take pliers to cut some plastic off of it for a better fit. We were both a little disappointed in the sounds because in the movies the sounds that come from Harry's wand are considerably quieter but all in all, for the price, its a good Halloween piece for kids.
