The reason why we are not happy with this product is that the seams where the fabric is sewn to the rib parts and the mask...tore the first time he put it on. The eyes are really hard to see through...not a fun experience AT ALL. So much for Halloween!!

This costume looked great on line, but not as good in real life. I was disappointed with the quality of the plastic on the mask and chest piece. In the photo the hood looks like it comes down to cover the face a bit, but it is actually sewn to the make and only about an inch is left forward. I purchased an additional black cloak to cover better and give more depth. I just think for the price better quality materials could have been used.

My 5 year old son loves this costume! It fits great and is very comfortable! Worth the price because he will be able to use it for play for a couple of years. The mask was the only thing that was iffy, it is pretty big for a child's face, I had to tie the back closed so it will stay on. If you are buying for a small child, do not buy the Child's Dementor gloved hands! They fit an adult, and are WAY too big for a child!

I read that on a business card once, and found it to be very true. The dementor costume arrived very quickly, and when I had a problem prior to shipping the CSR was excellent. The quality of the costume is pretty awful, though. The chest piece broke off on the first wear, and the material is shoddy. Buycostumes.com had the best price for the costume on the web, but it is still expensive for a costume that only holds up for 2-3 hours. My son loves it anyway...but now I have to figure out how to patch it up for 2 more parties, a parade, and Halloween itself!

My 8-year-old loves this costume. Ours was not bent out of shape at all as some other reviewers have found; however, the material will probably not hold together for too long. It will be perfect for wearing on Halloween. We did not find this costume in any other stores. My son is very happy that he will have a unique costume that is slightly scary but still appropriate for a school function. His only concern is that the eye holes sometimes slip off his eyes so that he cannot see.
