When Hagrid took Harry to Diagon Alley the day after his eleventh birthday, Harry received the first real birthday present he'd ever had. Hagrid, an expert on magical creatures of all kinds, decided to get Harry a pet. This pet was a beautiful snowy owl Harry named Hedwig, a name he found in the 'History of Magic'. Made of realistic man-made materials, this prop is a great accessory for your Harry Potter costume.

I attached Hedwig to my shoulder and it looked so real!

Cute owl but does not stand. Nor does it secure to Harry's shoulder (and no way to do it). So, it gets held like a doll...

Hedwig was a very important prop for my upcoming zombie Harry Potter costume. I couldn't find him anywhere else but here and the price was very reasonable. I had read negative reviews saying that his feathers easily came off, and that he was cheaply made - Not the case for my Hedwig. He's the perfect size, and will be perfect with my costume!! Must have for any Harry Potter costume!

11yo REALLY wanted a Hedwig to complete Harry Potter costume. He loved this one. We attached it to his shoulder and he was instantly recognized as the Boy Who Lived. My only complaint is that we couldn't handle it too much because it lost feathers and it wasn't set up to be attached. Juggling this the wand and the cauldron (candy bag) was too much. I ended up rigging it to his scarf and around his shoulder to get it to stay on. You'll need some black elastic and a couple of safety pins.

My son LOVED this owl and carried it throughout the day with his Harry Potter costume. It has real feathers and he loved how realistic it looked. It does have wiring on the bottom of the owl, so technically, you could clip it to something, but I couldn't get it to stick to my son's shoulder/costume. Overall, very satisfied.
