This cheap version of the Harry Potter Gryffindor school robes is great for Harry Potter fans on a budget. Made of a lighter material than the heavier full robes, it still looks great and authentic. It has a few loose threads, but that's quickly solved with a pair of scissors. It also comes with a detachable clasp. Overall, this is a great product and gives itself to many hours of fun dressing up without the excessive price tag. Just hope they get round to making versions for the other three houses! I'll definitely be buying!

Overall, this robe does the trick. I wore it to a costume party and there was no question that I was dressed up as Harry Potter. The robe is made of your usual costume material, and isn't the highest quality fabric. I wouldn't expect it to hold up for years and years, but for one or two nights a year, it's just enough. The only other downside is that the color in the picture is misleading. The lining of the hood (the hood is the only lined part) is kind of a dark mauve color. Paired with a tie, glasses, a scar and a wand, I don't think it made a difference.
