We purchased the hat for my 9 year old daughters Harry Potter themed birthday party.....all I can say is WOW! We used the hat for sorting the girls into houses for the party events. It felt like we were in the great hall at Hogwarts!

This is a fun item to have for a costume. I had to stuff it to make it stand up a bit because the wire inside the hat didn't do much, but otherwise it was great!

To prepare for the last Harry Potter movie, we held a HP Movie Marathon at home. The first night, we had a start-of-term feast and a sorting ceremony. The hat was the centerpiece on the table and everyone loved being "sorted"! All my kids were impressed - it looks so good and the feel is substantial. Absolutely perfect for our celebration. Now we'll see who wears it to the theater.............

I ordered this hat for a school play of THE SILVER CHAIR for the Puddleglum character. It is the perfect hat for the part and the time it saved me from having to create one, made the money well spent. Thank you for a great hat at the best price I could find.
