I actually bought this costume since it was my 'Plan B' to another outfit. Little did I know that it would be a life of the parties that I went to! It gave a nice 'original' factor to the venues visited. The only downfall for me was that the mask was slightly bent but I think that was mostly in shipping and was not too much of a hassle. Overall, I would recommend it to give a different feel from the typical 'death' outfit or something similar.

My husband bought this costume for a Halloween party. He's a huge Harry Potter fan and thought it would be scary and intimidating. He is a large guy - 6' and about 220 - muscular and built like a football player. It may have just been his build, but the whole thing really, really looked like a dress on him. The puffy sleeves had purple velvety material (the photo doesn't seem to show any purple) and the hood looked like a bonnet on him. He was really upset because he wasn't going for the cross-dressing look. He took it off after everyone at the party laughed at him and threw it away. It might be better suited for a female Death Eater or maybe a smaller framed man.

The costume arrived exactly as it appeared in the ad. Great details on the shoulders and sleaves. The mask was also intimidating to passers-by, which fits the "Death Eater" persona.

I didn't expect more than I got, for the price. The mask is lighter, more silver than black, and it's a little bit flimsy. The robes look pretty good, but in relation to the length, the arms are short. There are thumbholes on the robe, which made the arms too short for my boyfriend. With gloves on, though, it was fine. The hood is not attached to the robes, and kind of looks like a bonnet if you don't place it right. Overall, the costume works for one night, but just isn't the greatest quality.
