In the picture for this costume you can not tell how cheap the hand is. My boyfriend and I didn't use it, we spray painted a thing hand and used it instead. The head piece and coat worked great, we also added a devils tail to it. This costume would be better if it was a little cheaper and they recommended that you buy the hand seperate so you could get a better one. Overall, after our tweaks, it was a great costume.

I bought this costume after debating on what I was going to be for weeks . . . and don't regret my decision! As mentioned in other reviews, the shirt is attached to the coat and kinda slides up when you lift your arms. Nothing that couldn't be solved by putting a black shirt underneath. I wore black jeans and boots to complete the leg part. The top (head cap) works well, but I cut the side burns off cause they were kinda chincey. Just glued some fake hair on and spray painted it black. Red face paint for my hands and face worked like a charm. Only recommendation is to get the "nicer" hand. The one that came with it was like flat sterofoam. I couldn't even figure out how you would use it! Won a costume contest at work and took multiple pictures with strangers in downtown Iowa City!

The costume looks just like the picture except the hand...it is a disappointment. It's just a flat piece with elastics to go around your wrist. I wanted to order the Adult Plus costume since this is for my husband, but it wasn't in stock. This one fits fine though. But, if you wanted to be Hellboy for Halloween, I would suggest spending the extra and buying the Hand accessory because the one that comes with the costume isn't great. Otherwise, the headpiece and jacket is perfect!!

As stated by previous people, the hand that comes with it is a flat papery piece of material with two elastics, maybe if you bunched it up and taped it?? Definitely get the upgrade on the hand - worth the $!

Smelled a lil funny at 1st but i laid it out on the table overnight and it was fine. im 5'11" 210# and the fit was desent enough. Sleeves were ample and the overall length was fine, almost down to the floor. my chest is around 48" and while there were no real problems, theres a velcro strap behind the neck collar that should be pinned or a snap/button sewed in as it came loose a few times during the night, no big deal really. I have actual sideburns simular to hellboys so i cut them off the half mask and wore my own. Mask was pretty cool overall but the red makeup provided was a little darker thanthe mask itself. I had prepurchased doem brighter red ahead of time and it looked great, just make sure to pull it down over your eyebrows. Went to a party where i diddnt really know anyone and everyone there loved it so Id say it was a hit.
