I purchased this costume on sale, so it was relatively inexpensive compared to the newer items for this year. The outfit is one of the cutest outfits I've ever purchased for my daugther. I expected to receive a costume that had velcro in the back, but this was solid all the way around. It fit well, and it could actually be used for other events. The only issue is that the ruffles that are sewn on the bottom half of the dress became unraveled very easily. I had to sew quite a few back on just after my daughter wore it around the house for awhile. But overall, for the price this was an excellent buy.
