i bought this costume with high expectations. I'm 5'1 and around 110 ibs. Even though the dress was more or less a 'one size fits most' i do not recommend it to the petite. (maybe the teen would fit better?) it was awkwardly long, and loose in all the wrong places. i looked like a pot belly midget. =( (once the package arrived it had a sizing of 12-14, a recomended height of 5'6-5'8, and a weight of 135-145 ibs) The dress itslef was pretty, but fairly cheap looking. the diamond designs were peeling off and arrived bent and crinkled. the fringe ends were nothing more then cut up fabric.

It's not that the description is false, but not a great as the picture looks. The botton is only cut, not fringe like a flapper costume should have. The boa is short and not full at all. The headpiece is o.k. If you want a more authentic looking outfit try another one!
