My son was quite excited when he saw the machete. It's sturdy enough for him to rush through the imaginery jungle in our back yard, knocking the leaves & branches of the bushes out of his way.

It is very realisitic yet very kid friendly. It is not made of hard plastic so not going to hurt someone. It is really big though.
Great accessory, however never made it to halloween bc it broke

My son hits everything in the house with this. it's so different from all of his "swords", he likes that. He is not dismayed that it's not more real-looking, because it doesn't break easily. It would be neat if we could make sword-type items out of a nerf-foam material that make noise when they hit something, kind of like the hulk fists.
