great but a little tight

I bought this for my son who is five years ago and a bit on the small side. It is similiar to a body suit and is tight so you cannot wear anything underneath for warmth if it is cold on Halloween night. But my son loves it with the light and mask so it was worth the buy. He will just wear a coat instead.

My son loves it and it looks good! But, heed the previous reviews on size. We ordered the next size up for our 5 year old. Yes it's a little long in the arms and legs, but it is still snug. The smaller size would've been too small. Other than that, it's a good costume.

Best advice, listen to other reviews on size. My 4 year boy is 38 pounds and 44 inches tall. I got the larger costume and it fits him snug, yet it is too long. Which I plan on tucking the length under or just cutting it off. He loves it, so I am happy. The sleeves are the tight part. Closes in back with 2 small velcro dots about the size of a dime. He will have to wear thin thermal underwear to trick or treat with this. Also the mask is cute but the string is very tight on it, so I had to cut the original off and make one to tie, when he wore it around the house before I modified it, he took the mask off after 5 minutes and his nose was bright red from being smashed, I felt bad about that! But again, a problem that could be fixed. I rated 3's because it is NOT true to size by a long shot and it takes some modifications, BUT, it is my kid approved.

Great Costume

My son loves the costume and the padded muscles. The boot covers were a little big but the costume fits perfect. Great sizing and quality.

Why so small?!?

Cool looking costume. Mask is a little flimsy. My only issue is how tight it is. My son is a 5 slim 44inches 44pounds, we ordered the 7/8 size because others had mentioned the costume runs small. The length is long since we ordered the larger size, but the problem is how tight it is. With no clothes under it the fit is fine, but on Halloween I'm not sure how many layers we are going to fit under that costume. Basically if your child is a husky, this costume might not work.
