This was the perfect hat to cap off the Jack Sparrow costume I made for my neighbor's son. The hat is on the small side, he is 4 yrs. old and it fit him perfect - but if you need it for a child any older, I would get the adult size version. Definately a bargain for the price!

The Jack Sparrow Pirate Hat is a good quality, fun costume accessory. It can make any pirate costume look great. The fit was pretty snug on my 7-year-old twin boys, who are among the biggest kids in their age group, but not significantly so. The boys found the hat a little bit itchy so took it off for rests whenever they needed a break. If it were not so snug we would have tried putting a bandana on under it to see if that would reduce the itch. I'd buy the hat again; the boys liked it and got lots of compliments on their costumes.
