I own this mask and have it signed by all the stars of original plus Kane Hodder. Two things to know about this mask. 1. Yes there are slits in the mask to be able to see but on my mask they are right above the eyes, where the eyelids would normally retreat to. But here's the thing, if you don't have the slits, how would you see? It seems like nitpicking to be upset about this fact of life. 2. The hockey mask is a think plastic that could crack fairly easy if you were rough with it. I am hoping someone didn't assume they were giving you a legit hard plastic hockey mask with this as that's just not realistic. The positives are: -It's a very large mask. This gives you plenty of head room which is sort of a problem with a lot of other masks. It also has a LOT of extra material around the neck to tuck into your jumpsuit or whatever you use to portray Jason. It will look like your neck is grey just as Jason's head is, which is good. Most masks don't fully cover your neck and it kills the effect of what you're trying to portray. -If you wear the hockey mask you'll never see the slits anyway, if you don't, the slits are right by where your eyes would be anyway. If anything, it enhances Jason's deformity which is a major part of his look. Overall it's a very good mask. Better than just picking up those cheap hockey masks out there and having to wing it on Jason's face.

Although the disclaimer on this page states the mask may differ from the picture, it's nothing at all like the photo. First, it's HUGE. My eyes barely could see out the eye holes it was so big. Next, the eye holes, although it appears as though they are cleverly disguised in the photo, they are actually two GIANT holes on either side of the nose. There's no hiding this is a mask. Next, the hockey mask is flimsy plastic, the type of mask you'd buy at K-mart when you were a kid. While it's fairly well detailed, it's obviously meant to be worn on a head of a person 7 feet or taller. :) I've returned this item. It was useless to me.

Great mask, the only thing is that is a big mask! But well created and very realistic.

This is a very authentic Jason mask, complete with the ski mask and the skull cap. It covers the neck which was important to me as well, to keep up the authenticity.
