The dress was way too short. I'm 5'7" and there's no way I could have worn dress without leggings underneath......it barely covered by butt.

Had a GREAT time in this flapper dress - and received many compliments! I did order the extra large, which I am glad I did. I usually where about a size 12. It was loose fitting and very comfortable. Pretty short - tho! The nice thing about the loose-fitting style is it's ok if it's a little too big. But, not so ok if it's too small. {:>) ENJOY!

I was a bit anxious considering the other reviews on this item however I have just received this in the mail and it certainly isn't too short. It might not be as long as the photo but it's modest enough to wear quite comfortably. I ordered a small and I'm average height (I'm not tall tho). I guess it depends on who's ordering it - the dress it more yellow than gold but still looks quite good. Perfect for a 1920s party :) I'm from Australia also and can't beleive I ordered 9 costumes on the Thursday and they arrived on the Monday!

The costume is meant to be a dress, I purchased size XL which fits however, the item may best be used as a top and not a dress as it does not even go past the rear end, unlike what is shown in the picture. Am going to have to try and get alterations, very disappointing considering postage was expensive as item was shipped to Australia. Not sending it back as the cost of postage would make it more of a waste of money for me.
