I bought this helmet and the rest of the Astronaut costume for my precious 8 year old Niece. She absolutely LOVED IT! I read in some of the reviews that it was too large but a space helmet is supposed to be large isn't it. Yes. This was a great purchase and when you press the button the helmet pops open and my niece would just laugh with joy! I would recommend this helmet to any kid that loves Astronauts and space!

My 3 1/2 year old loves to play with this helmet, but it isn't going to be practical for him to Trick-or-Treat in. It is quite heavy and bobbles on his head and there is nothing to hold it on. This "junior" size helmet fits my 6 foot husband with room to spare! He still enjoys pretending with it but I was very disappointed with the size.

My 4 year old asked me everyday if I had his astronaunt costume. It would have been worth it to pay for Fed Ex shipping. He loved his costume and received many compliments.

Right out of the box, the visor would not close properly. I called customer service and they offered to replace it, but my thinking is, if it does not work on day 1, what is it going to be like after my 5 year old plays with it for a few days? It is also very cheaply made and it is so big there is no way he will be able to wear it Trick-or-Treating. I would not reccomend this product to anyone, not for the price.

This is the ultimate accessory for your Astronaut. Looks great. Fit is large for a child (mine is 8 years old), but he loved it. However, the remote part of the mask was broken. The mask opened once, but then would not close. We returned it and are hoping the replacement is of better quality (although I expect it's just delicate/flimsy construction). Great accessory, but wish the quality was better. For the price, this should last way beyond Halloween.
