The dress was very nice. My daughter loved it when I surprised her with it. It ran a little big, but she will wear it for a couple of years at least. The head piece was a waste. It was not a stuffed roll as pictured (and traditional) but was flat and sewn with the seam on the outside so looked like it was made incorrectly. The headpiece was not wearable which was very disappointing. I don't think I can even fix it myself.

I purchased the size needed for my neice and the costume was entirely too big. It was more for an adult then a child. I was able to exchange it without any problems at all. The customer service was excellent and I received my exchanged item within a week. I exchanged for a size smaller and it fit. The costume was well made and very beautiful. My niece picked it out and was quite happy with it. There was an extreme size difference from a 10-12 and the 14-16. And I was not happy with the head piece. The head piece was not as pictured. The picture showed a 'stuffed' head piece, but the actually piece was flat with no stuffing. I will definitely purchase from Buycostumes.com again.

I bought this costume for my daughter and she is thrilled with it. It wouldn't work for a medieval reenactment, but is great for Halloween or for a nice dress up dress.

My daughter really liked the dress but it was too itchy and the size was too big.

My daughter needed a costume to wear to a Renaissance Festival that she is going to on a field trip. The color and size were what we expected. I also ordered the next size up since she was between two sizes, but the smaller size was a truer fit. It is a little short, but that is okay since they will be walking around and up and down stairs.
