Great look, not so great fit

I bought this for my 4 year old son and had ordered a size 5-8 thinking that he would be wearing clothes under it. If you get this you will want to order a bigger size.The costume just fits. Also the part that looks like it is metal is scratchy. I will need to find something to put under these parts so that he will wear it. On the good side - this looks adorable my son loves it.

The sizing is way off. I ordered size 4-6 and although the package has the little sticker next to the 4-6 size, it fits like a size 3-4T. I was really hoping that after spending $35+ dollars on the costume we could get a year or so out of it but it barely fits now so it looks like it will be a one time use for the cousin's princess bday party next week. The mesh looks cool but it pokes out of each inside seam and is very scratchy due to the stiff metallic nature of the fabric. My son was willing to wear with a long sleeved t-shirt underneath.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY

The costume is beautiful, and I love the design. BUT... my son wore it for about an hour and it was already tearing in so many places. We are going to a Medieval Festival tomorrow and I have already spent an hour sewing it and have not yet finished. Watch out for the size too. I got the small (5-7) and it can barely fit my son who is not 5 yet. It is SO TIGHT and is hard to fasten in the back. It's also uncomfortable for him because the stitchings inside hurt his arms. Really a shame because the design is so nice... but way too expensive for a costume that lasts less than an hour.

Needs extra padding or lining around collar and inner stitching, my son complained about the costume being prickly and it was too hot for a long sleeve undershirt! We ended up buying a lightweight turtleneck undershirt.

Sizing not correct

I ordered the size 8-10 for my 8 yr. old. When I received it, the top would fit a 2 yr. old. It had to be returned.
