  • Great Prop for costume

    This shield is plastic but well made and compliments the period costumes well. It was light weight enough that my husband was able to carry it around all night.

  • looks good but handle bad

    I liked the overall shield, but the handle was hard to grasp as it was not attached correctly. That sounds a like minor deal, but it gets annoying to have a shield that is leaning over.

  • Not what expected

    Boy were we disappointed when we opened the box. This is nothing but a very flimsy piece of very thin molded plastic. The handle tore through the grommet holding it on the first time my son picked it up. Would return it but not worth paying the return shipping, Into the trash it goes. Handle on the sword we bought with it was broken when we open box. My son used it anyway for his costume.

  • Good Sword for the price!

    Handled with care should provide hours of imaginative play for age 5 and up in my opinion. Will not sustain hard blows or being stepped on.
