Take the good with the bad

Overall I do like this piece. BUT- I thought there was real bubble action with some kind of sealed liquid in the tubes... it's not. It's just a solid tube with manufactured, immobile"air" bubbles in them. Since it wasn't real liquid, the $30 price was a bit steep. HOWEVER-- this piece has FASCINATING and BRILLIANT LED light action going on. It will light up your spooky decor especially in a creepy low-light situation. It is VERY animated with the blinking lights, moving meter gauge, and clear sounding audio. You WILL get lots of compliments on this cool prop!

I agree with the other reviews on this product. It's smaller than you think (be sure to pay attention to the dimensions given in product description) and I felt I paid too much ($30) but I didn't take the time to shop around. The $20 clearance price offered at time of this review is more appropriate and comparable to other companies selling this same product. However, it is an excellent prop for that "mad scientist" laboratory, with excellent and loud-enough sound effects, and with variable effects, as you can have 1) Lights only (no sound); 2) Motion activation of lights and sound; 3) Push-button operation (yellow button in front) to activate lights and sound. Overall, it's totally cool! I'd even like to see more stuff like this in the same price range, like beakers and other laboratory "glassware" that lights up and appears to bubble.

Serves the purpose!

This item is pretty cool. I was hoping it would have looked a little more realistic, (not so plasticy looking), but it serves the purpose for a mad scientists lab. The most disappointing thing is that it doesn't look as expensive as it was! For what it is, I paid a little too much money.

Bubble tubes

I got the bubble tubes in the mail, they were smaller than I thought they would be, but they pack a big punch for their size! Bright and loud, they will be a fine addition to our Halloween collection. Now all we need are a Mad scientist lab scene setter and more weird science stuff!! Always more goodies to get before our big night.
