    got a small,had to spend $40.00 to alter sleeves so they stayed up on my arms, the waist was also large but did not alter due to corset-wear in fall/winter the corset is hot!!

  • Fit my 5 year old better than me...

    Umm... Okay. The quality of the costume is great, the LENGTH is completely absurd. I am 5'9" and it honestly didn't cover my panties. It was a more reasonable length without the corset but that left it completely shapeless and totally unflattering. It honestly fit my tiny 5 year old daughter better than me! I may try it next year with some cute shorts or a decent petticoat under.

  • wedding outfit

    I bought this item to wear at my wedding as the theme is a pirate one. I fell inlove with the outfit when I saw it and couldn't wait to get it so that I could try it on. I was a bit shocked at the shipping costs and then import tax was added on taking the total to over £110 GBP. The item arrived within the stated time and I was very upset when it didn't fit. The dress part was so tight around ny hips and the corset part didn't even come around me. I have had to give it to a dressmaker to get it altered so that it fits for my wedding. I took care when ordering and made sure that I had the correct size as I know how different the US sizes compare with GB.

    Very cute costume! The hat was perfect! Dress/bustier was a little more low cut/short than I would have liked, but it worked fine. The sleeves on this were great....just beware of candles! I wore fishnet & brown boots with this & my fiance wore the Baroque Pirate costume (the jacket on that is FANTASTIC)! We won the prize for best couples costume!
