Best Purchase Ever
I needed ladybug wings for my twin daughters who were apart of an Advent themed play of little creatures going to Bethlehem for the birth of baby Jesus. I was disorganized and ordered two days before Thanksgiving, yet BuyCostumes.com saved me! The shipping cost was cheap and arrived in two days. (In fact, their fast shipping was cheaper than other companies' slowest, lowest shipping costs.) I was thrilled. Best of all the wings and antennas were sturdy, well-made and adorable!!! Each wing even had a little black satin ribbon that hung down from the bottom. Even though I didn't immediately understand what the ribbons were for, my 6-year-old daughters did -- when they held the ribbons in their hands, and pulsated their hands ever so slightly, it made the wings flap gently. The effects was so adorable. And, it kept their hands busy while they stood at the microphone and sang their solos and duets. It is so tempting when standing/singing at a microphone to hold on to the microphone with a death grip, and that doesn't look good. Because the girls got so many compliments for their adorable -- yet simple -- ladybug costumes, they want to wear them for next Halloween. (It cracks me up because I have slaved in the past sewing them elaborate costumes, and they didn't like those as much as these cute ladybug wings that they could flap.) One more thing: I found a few other pairs of ladybug wings for sale by other on-line costume stores, and everyone of the customer reviews stated how absolutely disappointed they were with the lower quality products they bought. Theirs ripped and fell apart in minutes. Too bad they didn't buy high quality wings and antennas from BuyCostumes.com!!!
