I was very excited for this costume to arrive. When I saw it I was slightly disappointed. It was kinda cheesier than I thought it may be. Also the adult size was way too big. I am a size 10 and this was too big. I couldn't do anything to work with it to make it fit. If you are a bit bigger than this will work fine.

Versatile Costume

It is more purple than blue, but overall a well made costume. I cut out the stiff fabric and put a petticoat under it to get the effect in the picture. As with most costumes it is never going to look like the model in the picture, but you have to work with your body size and height. I am only 5 feet tall so the skirt is fairly long and feels long in the body, but with just a few adjustments I made it work.

Not like picture!!

I was SO excited to get this in the mail. I ordered late and it got her on the day of my party...I took it out of the bag and was SO bummed!!!! I wanted to cry! ;) The color of purple was awful! The fit was bad, saggy, i felt ugly in it. I had worked so hard on making my wig just like the one in the picture so I just went for it. I made the most of it, I did however hike the skirt up with pins, since it just hung there. Overall: Keep looking, there are cuter ones out there!

lol other than that it great i had to put a pettie coat under it so it stuck out a bit more the only bad part is that it was purple it turnt out that we all wore purple hehe

Made It Work

Well I bought this outfit last year. I loved the concept of a "Lady In Waiting". Anyways, when I received it I was a bit disappointed. The color was a bit off, it wasnt as deep as it looks here. You're right it was droopy, I had to really work with those hip/butt things in the back part of the skirt. I ended up wearing a petticoat under, added some white face paint and some runny mascara and TAHDAH! I looked like a sad women waiting for her dead lover or children or something crazy like that. Overall it could have been better quality, but I made it work.
