My daughter was the cutest ladybug in our Christmas pageant! She said the dress was itchy, but wore a shirt and tights underneath and didn't seem to have a problem. It was very wrinkled coming out of the package and I didn't try steaming it for fear of melting the outer fabric. Turns out that it didn't matter much - it just added to the "poufy" effect. It was really cute on her and she loved the wand!

My 5 year old (almost 6) loved this costume, she wore it for the whole day. After removing it from the packaging I did have to trim some the of the loose threads. Overall a very cute costume, pretty good value

The costume was very poorly made, especially for the price. There were strings hanging everywhere that had to be clipped. The velcroe came off the wings the first time my daughter tried it on. On one side of the wings the black, glitter polka-dots were completely rubbed off. The headpiece was just a cheap elastic that was suppose to fit around head & stay on (yeah right). I ended up cutting it at bottom & sewing onto a head band so my daughter wouldn't struggle with it all night. I would have sent the costume back, but I didn't have time to find new one before trick or treating & my daughter had her heart set on that one. I had to do way too much work to the costume to make it look good. Considering the price, it should have already looked good.

It is way too small. It says 4-6x. My daughter wears a 6, not a 6x and there was no way it was long enough. Also, the velcro fell off of the wings and we didn't even try them on because I already knew that the dress was too small. It seemed like it would be very cute if it fit and made strong enough.
Unfortunately it is going to need a lot of work before Halloween. A lot of the stitching needs to be fixed. There is a long string of thread that goes from dot to dot to dot that needs to be trimmed off. And, when my daugther took it off the very first time, the velcro that holds on the wings came off with the wings. So that will need to be reattached. All of the components of a good costume are there, but it is very poorly constructed. This was not a cheap costume, I expected better quality.
