Now, I love BuyCostumes and have been very happy with my purchases. It was bound to happen that some item would dissapoint and this was the item. The design is very cute and I really liked the quality and flattering design placement of the drop waist feathers. The sewing and cutting of the garment was completely garbled, however. There was a weird bunch of fabrick on the left hip where the fabric had been incorrectly layed out and sewn. The two slits in front were not evenly spaced from the front senter of the garment. The pull was to the left as well. The material was what I expected from a lower end costume but was nicely soft and nicely feathered. There is, however, no excuse for poor craftmanship on an otherwise sweet design.

I get my costume from here every year and I'm usually satisfied. This costume though i was not. The slits are not the same as the picture. They are uneven and one is more to the side. The arm band is so big it looks silly. Also the mid-drift feathers are noticeably uneven.

They saved my day!

I'm huge on celebrating halloween! So this year I bought my costume way early from a local halloween store. 2 days prior to halloween I tried on my costume and was horrified that it did not fit! Buycostumes.com saved my day! I found another costume online with my size and had guaranteed shipping by 10/31/08. When it arrived ( and was on time! ) I was shocked on the quality of the costume! I received so many compliments and I even was a top finalist in a costume contest since I looked like the real Pocahontas! Thank you buycostumes.com I will be using you EVERY year!

The delivery of this dress was very quick and I live in cananda. I was overall fairly satisfied with this costume a few problems i encountered was that I am really tall and small. 5'9 and 112lbs. I ordered the small costume and it ties in the back which is fairly descent for size adjustment. the top and the body fit very well but the material at my behind puckered a little bit... ironing fixed this. Also one of my straps kept falling down so my mother shorted this by sewing the seam on the inside. Everyone Loved the costume and the feathers were of a lot higher quality than i expected.
