Good Costume Compared to Others

This is a decent costume for the money. Not near as cheap made as some I looked at. The picture is quite an accurate representation of the outfit. The cape is made out of an actual cloth material not like most of the others that are thin stretch material. The dress is all one piece. It was big on my daughter but she was on the low end of the age rage for the dress and she's very petite anyway. The good thing about the dress is that the faux corset is not completely sewed in place. I was able to pull the laces together and it made enough of a difference that the dress ended up fitting her pretty decently. As she grows I can just loosen the laces to adjust it. She'll be able to wear it for several years as just a dress up outfit. The only thing I would recomend is the petticoat that goes underneath. It is not included with the dress and makes quite a difference in filling out the skirt. The outfit looks a little plain without it. In all, very satisfied with the purchase. Shipping time was not bad, exactly one week from the time I ordered to the time it arrived.

Really adorable!

It is really cute! My daughter couldn't wait to try it on. It is however very thin so you may want to wear something underneath. I bought the matching basket which is adorable. It is small but just right for tiny 4-year-old hands. The gingham cover zips at the top and not removable. We will probably be using the basket to hold her Halloween candy. It would have been better if the basket was included with the costume. I think it's a bit pricey to pay a total of approx. $50.00 for a child's costume.

Riding Hood ready!!

I'm pretty happy with this costume. It looks very good on my daughter. The only thing I'm not too happy with is the length. It was a lot shorter than I thought it would be. My daughter is 6 and is a little on the short side for her age and the size 6-8 came about mid way on her thigh. It's a pretty easy fix though I'll probably add some lace around the bottom or buy a lacey slip. Overall it's a cute costume.

The costume is very cute and soft- the material is a little thin and probbably will require a slip but it is a great costume for the money.
