This costume says size 7-8, but is almost too small for my daughter; it would fit size 5-6 better. Material is flimsy and see-through; cape is almost too short, no where near as long as in the picture shown for the product. Yes, the price is cheap, and she only needs it for one play performance which is good, cause it wouldn't hold up otherwise.

I ordered this product for my 7 year old daughter. She is small for her age and fell well within the parameters of a size 6 costume. After reading some of the reviews regarding small sizing, I went ahead and ordered her the Medium size 7-8. What I got looks like an infants costume. I could barely get it on her and the skirt is mid thigh. Trying to return it for another size is difficult since she is hysterical that a new one won't get here in time and I'm afraid a large won't work either. She is 39lbs and 41 inches tall and a medium fits like a baby costume. Also, the material is cheap and looks it. I thought at best she'd get a play costume out of it, but not at this point.

this costume is really cute. i did not like it as much as my daughter though. it is sized really small. she usually wears 8-10, i got a large and it is really snug and the skirt is too short. also the material is pretty thin. she's still going to wear it though because she loves it. she'll have to wear leggings or something with it though because of the shortness of the dress.

The costume has an over all nice look but the quality is lacking. The fabric seem to be a bit cheap and the neck tie was cut unevenly. I was a bit disatisfied by this particular costume.
