Title: very fun costume!
Date: Nov 02, 2008
after all the hemming, sewing and taking in the costume to fit my boyfriend to his true size it all came together perfectly. We ordered the true mad hatter hat (the green felt one). You need that hat to truley finish off the costume. The quality of the costume was'nt all that great but it made its statement. With me being Alice to go along with him made it all even better. We won first place at a costume contest and had a GREAT time. It was all defiently worth it!

Title: Poorly fitting, and disappointing quality
Date: Oct 21, 2008
After much hemming and hawing, we bought this Mad Hatter costume for my boyfriend to wear on Halloween. He's a 48 chest, and because reviews said it ran large, ordered the large. The coat and vest were ENORMOUS. The coat is a very thin, almost see-through material, and the vest/shirt/bow tie combo was huge on him (yes, it's one piece, like a backless-dickie). Also the bow tie was a different color. The pants were extremely cheaply made, with seams not really lining up appropriately, and they were too small. Also, the hat is a miss. Really poor quality, and again, different colors than pictured.
We're returning it, and piecing together our own wacky clothing combination for him to wear, along with a separately purchased Hat.
I'm not sure if our costume was an amalgam of differently sized pieces put together in the same bag, or if it's just very oddly/badly sized!
