I am a 5"3, 24 year old female. I purchased a child-sized 14 costume and it fit wonderfully (I am usually a size 2-4 adults). The costume was GREAT! It was definitely a great costume for halloween, and any other fancy dress party (I purchased japanese wooded slippers, wore white leggings and painted myself in traditional geisha makeup...I topped it off with a Geisha wig!). Great Costume, great price.
