The costume was very small. I ordered a plus size because I normally take a large and did not want to chance the costume not fitting. It still did not fit so I didn't wear it. That is after I spent aout 2 hours trying to steam out all the wrinkles. I didn't have a problem steaming out the wrinkles in the costume itself because I expected I would have to steam the wrinkles. I was not prepared to spend over an hour trying to shape the hat to look like it was a hat. When I took the hat out it was smashed flat and did not even closely resemble a hat.

I loved this costume! I'm 5'8" 200 lbs and am a size 16 but the skirt was huge and had to be taken in. I'm only a B cup but this costume made me look bigger than that. I had to use double sided tape to keep the girls in though... lol The hat was pretty worthless so I bought another one. Definitely buy the shoes... It made the whole outfit. I would definitely recommend this costume.

I was very pleased with my purchase of the Mafia Mama costume. It's hard to order clothing items off the internet when you're plus size because nothing ever fits properly even if you follow the sizing chart provided. This costume fit perfectly, was comfortable to wear all day long and not too sexy to get away with wearing at the office. The tommy gun purse was the perfect fiinishing touch. I received lots of compliments on this costume and made sure to tell everyone where I purchased it from. The super quick shipping (it arrived in Toronto in 5 days) was the icing on the cake and I can't wait to order my costumes next year!

I actually wore this costume for a Casino event at our university the week after Halloween. The fit was true to size (I wear an 18-20) so there were no alterations needed although the sleeves on the jacket were a bit long and I will probably need to hem them up before I wear it again. The vest was not as long as advertised which required me to wear a camisole underneath. The length on the skirt was just right and overall the costume was very comfortable to wear. Unfortunately, the hat was a bit squished when I received it and I wasn't sure I would be able to get it to look right, so I purchased a separate hat from a local store to wear instead. Everyone at the event were impressed with the overall look.
This is really cute for someone who isn't trying to show too much skin. Fits a little snug.
