I bought this costume for a pirate theme. I am a shorter, curvier woman and the Large fits me fine. However, I had to replace the straps because they did not fit over my shoulders. After I accessorized with a pirate hat and a skull dagger at a local party supply store, the outfit was complete. I received so many compliments wearing this pirate costume.
