Not what i expected

perhaps this is with all costumes but with this one especially i was not happy one bit with the costume; it looked NOTHING at all like the picture or how i imagined it was going to be. either way i kept it anyway although i know for a fact am not going to be very happy in the party with my costume.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

I REALLY LIKE THE COSTUMES, HOWEVER THE MATERIAL IS CHEEP FOR WHAT YOU ARE CHARGING AND I HAD TO TAKE ALL FIVE OF THE COSTUMES TO THE CLEANERS DUE TO THE MATERIAL FALLING APART. SO GUESS WHAT IT COST ME MORE MONEY. SO NO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS. WHAT I WOULD DO IS GIVE THEM A PICTURE AND INFORM THEM TO HAVE IT MADE.

Great costume - fun to wear

I really liked this costume for the most part. Fun to wear and looks great. The only thing was that the gloves left black ink dye on my fingernails which was weird and the fringe part of the underskirt was unraveled a bit right out of the box, quickly remedied by a needle and thread. I did wear it with another black tutu underneath to help fill it out as the underskirt is pretty flimsy. It fits well for a medium and easy to wear. Wore it to a school Mardi/Gras fund-raising event.Got lots of compliments and people asking me where I got my costume. I told them buycostumes.com. Delivered on time too which I was grateful.

Great Mardi Gras Pairing

My husband & I went to a huge Mardi Gras Party in Chicago and received many wonderful comments on our costumes. The fit was perfect for my 5'6" - frame (135lbs.) I ordered large, since I am fuller breasted. The dress is made very well with a back zipper and stays in the bodice to give you a beautiful fit. The long black gloves and neck band dress the outfit up very nicely. I also purchased the fishnet stockings and purple boa for accents. I ordered the black petticoat, but it made the skirt too full, so I didn't wear it. I will keep it for another time. My husband purchased the Mens Mardi Gras vest, bow tie and a great mask. We had a wonderful time at the party and will always purchase our costumes from BuyCostumes.

Even works as a figure skating costume

My friend and I each bought the Mardi Gras Masquerade costume. With a pair of black spandex shorts worn underneath, we are entering into a "similar pairs" figure skating event coming up next month. Other than a slight adjustment on the shoulder strap length (we need to shorten them 1/2 inch or so) the fit was perfect according to the size chart. We tried them out on the ice the other day, and they worked great!
