I just got this costume in the mail yesterday, and tried it on right away. I found that the chest part does not fit properly at all and will have to get it professionally altered. and one side of the chest part is a different shade of black, so I am dying it all to match. The fabric is not too bad, it does not have the cheap look at all, and was impressed there. Overall i am sticking to it, with a bit of alterations it will work nicely for my 80's themed party.

good costume but runs small in sizing

This costume worked very well for my 80's party I attended. I paired it with a bunch of bracelets, fishnet gloves, jean jacket, black lace socks and white pumps and I was the hit of the party. It's one size fits all and it fit perfectly for me. I wear a size 6 sometimes an 8 and I have a 34 DD bra size. You can tie the dress however tight you want it so it forms to small or large bust size...Must buy for an 80's theme costume.

I describe the costume in my video review, but I'll repeat a few key things here. This costume is well made. It's not the typical thin, stretchy material so often found in costumes. This is more of a cotton material (no stretch) and there is nice detail in the material. Sadly, the detail didn't show up in my video. It's similar to embroidery, though, and helps with the quality and overall look of the dress. The uneven hem of the dress fits well with the 'Material Girl' theme and falls nicely. The bodice is probably going to be a better fit on someone with a larger chest. I'm a D cup and, as you can see in the video, it fits nicely. If you're smaller, you might want to wear a padded push up bra to help fill it out. The dress ties in the back so you can adjust the way it falls in the front with that. I paired the dress up with a blonde wig, gloves, lots of necklaces & bracelets and some shoes with lacey ankle socks to round out the look. I got a lot of compliments on it and my photo was taken with just about everyone at that party. This costume is perfect if you want to dress as the "Material Girl' or it might even work for a glam Monroe.....or possibly even a sexy witch. Change your accessories and you have a nice quality costume that will last a long time!
