very happy with the quality of this product. it was convenient e easy to purchase and suited the event perfectly. maybe a little expensive for what it actually was - but if you are a very busy person (who NEVER has any spare time) with disposable cash, this is a great option.

Everything needs customizing!

This is the first costume Ive bought in a LONG time. I was very skeptical of buying online but luckily the previous reviews gave me forewarning about the sizing issue. The fact is that any dress you order from a warehouse is box cut off the line and you should expect a little off sizing. I had this dress tailored to fit. After investing SO much money, I planned on wearing this to several events and will wear it again. I had the skirt hemmed in the front and a scoop train tailored in the back. I also had the empire waist tapered in at the top. That made a HUGE difference in the way it fell on my frame. The high waist line was still a bit big but still comfortable... which is what is important. That's the main reason I decided to splurge and spend a Benji plus makeup and shoes and tailoring and wig. On the third night of wearing the head piece the elastic band started pulling away from the plastic. A word of advice... don't use hot glue of any temp. Multi-purpose glue works best. I couldn't have worn it without a wig... it's pretty big and fits better with a hair piece. The necklace didn't fit well at first so I simply fashioned two safety pins as a make shift fastener... it not only made for a more comfortable fit but secure as well. Again I stress... do not use hot glue. All in all... this is a SPECTACULAR costume! Go all out on this one ladies! Use some creativity and had a BLAST! I also used a safety pin to cinch up the skirt as the night went on. Gotta show off the shoes.

Didn't Live up to the Name or Price.

I loved this costume! And I had my heart set on going with an InCharacter costume on the knowledge that these costumes were higher quality then lets say a bargain base costume. So I ordered this beautiful Medusa Costume. First I went and tried it on in the store to get the right fit. Well the measurements are definitely off bc the bust is way tighter than listed I had to go up to a Xlarge when im a large at best 36C to be exact. Anyway I ordered the costume and when it came in I was quite disappointed. There was many loose strings all over the costume, mostly on the sleeves and when i went to try it on one of the loops that clasp the two sections of the armbands together broke!!! This was brand new out of the package and it was already falling apart! Took it took a seamstress to have all the loops resewn and check to make sure there were no more errors! Aside from that, shaping the headpiece was difficult and the necklace is held together with velcro so it keeps coming undone... Not happy for the money.....

The costume is very pretty, but the fit is off. The dress is very tight in the ribcage and chest-couldn't even zip it up, but it fit everywhere else. I am a 34D, and bra size is measured around the ribcage UNDER the bosom. This costumes measurement must refer to around the fullest part of the bosom. I had to order the next size up (Large), and will get it altered to fit my waist (which is 27). Difficult fit for a "curvy"girl. Also, the headpiece is a little disappointing. The snakes are much flatter than in the photo. To get it to look like the one online, you would have to tape in a lot of extra wire and work on "shaping" the snakes into a more 3-dimensional look. Not sure if it's worth all that extra work. We'll see!

I love this costume! Yes, it's a little pricey, but the the fabric is wonderful and has been sewn well (I know because my grandmother is a seamstress). What's nice about this dress is that you can wear it again as a medieval princess. It's so beautiful!
