This was one of the most fun costumes I've worn. I got SO many compliments on it. Pair it up with wild hair and elaborate makeup for a truly spectacular effect. I only gave 4 stars for quality because one of the sheer fabric draping panels was sewn on backwards, but this did not ruin the costume in any way. Also, make sure you put padding or something soft in between the head piece and your forehead, otherwise you will end up with a gash like marking across your forehead (the headpiece is plastic with a sharp edge and sits on your forehead.)

Excellent Purchase

I bought the Medusa Plus size costume and was very impressed with the delivery time. When I opened my parcel I was sooooo excited and thought that it was a great purchase for the price. I had read some of the comments about the headpiece but for the price you can't expect the world. I thought it was fine and looked better than what I expected!!! You may have to make some adjustments but Hey!! Doesn't matter to me!!! I am VERY PLEASED with my costume and plan to purchase plenty more!!! Thank you so much - I am going to look Great at the Party!!!!

Good for the price

The dress amazingly fits me in the bust (I'm a 44 FF). I like the cut of the dress, but I rated the "fits true to size" category only 4 stars because it only comes down to mid-calf on me, even though I am a very average height at 5' 6". I will have to add more material to the hem to make it look as long as it should. I think the dress will be versitile enough to use again as a witche's costume, a Cleopatra, or even a Helen of Troy/goddess if the right accessories are added for each. The headpiece is pretty cheap and came a bit bent, but I easily straightened it out by using a hair-dryer set on low to warm the plastic in a flat position. (If you do this, make sure you don't get the dryer too close or too hot as it will melt the headpiece.) Overall, for the sale price I paid, I'm satisfied with the costume. I plan to add more snakes for my hair and a few other touches when I wear it next Halloween.

Fabulous!

I wracked my brain on how to be different at a toga/greek/roman halloween party and this did the trick! It was fabulous. Everyone loved my costume. I paired it with the snake wizard staff and it worked wonders. I also used the gold glitter nail polish which was a wonderful complement until I couldn't get it off with nail polish remover.

VERY FAST SHIPPING AND THE COSTUME IS PERFECT SIZE AND WELL MADE, I HAD TO ADD A LITTLE SPICE TO THE HEADPIECE, BUT NOT A BIG DEAL. i WILL CONTINUE PURCHASING MY COSTUMES FROM BUY-COSTUMES AS ALWAYS.
