Only buy if you don't mind returning

My daughter is 6 yrs old and wears a 6x-7 depending on the style. The dress was long and not easily pinned up. I did try before returning it but there was not an easy way to pin it and have it look decent all the way around. My daughter loved it yes and the price was good but again, unless you know for sure that it will fit and/or don't mind spending the money to return it then I would probably pass on this one. The return fees are $7-$10 which takes away any cost savings that you might get if you end up having to return it.

Very beautiful mermaid costume!

The outfit is really beautiful! I bought the 4-6x for my daughter who wears a size 5. I thought that would be perfect, but it is on the smaller size. If your child is a 5 or 6 I would go up a size. It is extremely adorable though. And the colors are great.

The Perfect Costume

I ordered this costume for my daughter Samantha. About a week before her 5th birthday party, Samantha decided that she wanted to be the "Little Mermaid". First, I was amazed at how quick the costume arrrived. Second, I was amazed at the quality of the costume. I was expecting to get a little flimsy halloween costume, but instead, Samantha got a beautiful and durable mermaid gown with a fancy laced tierra. Samantha was the hit of her party - the cutest "Little Mermaid" you ever wanted to see. In the future, I will order all of my family's costumes from buycostumes.com.

Great Looking, Not Very Durable

This is a great looking costume, but it fits tightly and can tear if the child does any sort of active movement in it. Child would need to be careful to not run and play, and it can even be a problem when sitting because of the way it is made.
