This is great for the mermaid tail only, unless you are at least a DD cup or some other very large bust size. Besides, if you want the Ariel look like I did, opt for a bikini top. I thought the top was so large on me, and did not like the style, especially since I wanted an Ariel costume, so I am giving it to my 32DDD/E friend. If it does not fit her, I will be astounded. The tail is good for taller people... I am 5 2 3/4" and I either need to pull the tail up high or wear clear heels to wear the tail. It is hard to get on with the tight elastic, but once on, fits well. After all, you wouldn't want it to slide off. My costume is a size Small. I have a 32C bust and 36 inch hips.

I wasn't going to buy this because I didn't think it looked that great in the picture. However, all the other mermaid tails I found online were too expensive. I ordered this one and I'm so happy I did! It's greener in person than it looks online. It's very shimmery and eye-catching, and I honestly got compliments on it all night. I'm a size 6 in jeans and ordered a medium, and it fit perfectly. I'm also 5'3" and as long as you pull it up a little it isn't too long. I didn't wear the purple top; I opted for a white bikini top instead. Yes, the skirt isn't extremely good quality and is a little itchy on your bare skin, but it's not too bad and it didn't fall apart or anything like that. Definitely buy the seaweed boa, just trust me, it totally makes the whole costume. I loved this outfit so much!!

I look like the Little Mermaid so this year I thought dressing up like one would make my friends laugh. Instead I was laughing at the wonky sizes of this costume. So I'm a size 2 in pants. I followed size chart and the small was too small. No stretch so couldn't get the skirt over my butt. But the top was HUGE! I'm a 32DD and the small top swam on me. Who the heck would fit this? Not even Barbie has those measurements. Return-which went smoothly.

The top of the costume was much larger and a little different looking than the picture. I would suggest clicking on the alternative pictures provided, because it's a different model wearing the actual thing. I am a size 34B and I have to wear a swimsuit top underneath since it reveals the girls pretty obviously. However, I am not going to return this product, because I am only wearing it for one night. Overall the bottom fits me fine (I am 5'4, 125 lbs), the quality is good for a costume, price is reasonable, and it's really sexy!

I wanted a mermaid costume for the mermaid parade. I normally wear size small in costumes, so i got a small... the top was too big and itchy so i tossed it out and wore my purple one piece swimsuit instead. The skirt was tight but it was stretchy so i was able to put it a little lower.I added a wig. Unfortunately I didnt go to the parade so I didnt get to show it off this year but I added the picture of when i tried it on for references.
