I used this as an accessory to an Ali-G costume ( with Rapper suit, dollar ring bling, goatee and yellow glasses ). I have (I think) an average sized head and it was a little tight going over my head & ears. There is no obvious way of unclasping or unhooking it. Otherwise it is a great piece for an Ali-G or whatever else type of costume that requires bling.
